Max Follmer is an award-winning writer and producer with more than 13 years experience in journalism, digital content, marketing, and communications. As Marketing Communications Manager, Max is responsible for celebrating Troika’s team, talent, and client work across all channels and platforms. Max arrived at Troika from Promax after most recently serving as Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications, leading day-to-day marketing strategy and execution, influencer outreach, and communications for the global entertainment marketing association. A Webby Award honoree and SoCal Journalism Award finalist from his time at Participant Media, Max was also homepage editor and staff writer for The Huffington Post during the 2008 Presidential Election, and began his career as a reporter for the Los Angeles Daily Journal. Originally from the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, he holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Max is a triplet.
