Responsibilities
- Human Resources
- Develop and administer various HR plans and procedures for all company personnel.
- Develop, recommend, and implement HR related policies and procedures (e.g., maintain employee handbook, benefits and paid time off administration)
- Proactively anticipate HR related needs and recommend or implement integrated solutions as appropriate.
- Act as an employee champion and consultant to management on HR related issues.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, including individual guidance to employees.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal counsel as needed.
- Manage employee life-cycle activities, including on-boarding (e.g., orientation, integration plans) and off-boarding (e.g., exit interviews, sensitive separations).
- Coordinate, initiate, and manage immigration cases with external legal counsel.
- Proactively document, maintain, and update practices and protocols related to HR policy administration and standards.
- Keep all personnel files up to date.
- Recruiting & Selection
- Support recruiting and selection activities.
- Partner with the Recruiter to ensure an effective recruiting and selection process, including gathering timely feedback, managing interview schedules, offer process, etc.
- Create job descriptions and update job grids as needed.
- Organizational Development
- Support performance management and review process as needed.
- Support activities related to talent management and workforce planning.
- Assist in the identification of training and development needs across the organization.
- Support the development and implementation of employee training and development programs.

- Experience
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in HR or as an HRBP in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working with all levels in an organization, including executive leadership.
- Full-cycle recruiting experience with focus on design, creative, business development, and marketing preferred.
- Experience working with entertainment and media, design/creative, marketing/branding companies, or similar preferred.
- Education
- Bachelor of Arts degree in related field preferred.
