Entertainment Tonight Rebrand

Challenge

In collaboration with Entertainment Tonight, Troika set out to redefine a visual identity that retains its position at the forefront of the entertainment news landscape.

Approach

We worked closely with the ET team to develop a robust toolkit of signature textures, patterns and animations that express the brand identity. Using the iconic logo mark as a base, we used multiple textures to convey how ET aggregates and reflects pop-culture.

We also developed conversational language with bold typography that invites the audience to participate in the stories that are happening now as well as a Champagne color palette combined with electric accents nod to premium with a contemporary twist.

Result

The new look aims to create a seamless brand identity across multiple platforms, while introducing a contemporary attitude inclusive of its existing viewers as well as attracting new audiences.
