Free to be...
The tagline is also used to promote individual shows through on-air promos and in the print and outdoor advertising. The CW shows are promoted through descriptors that highlight a show’s uniqueness that creates a certain bond with the audience. For example, “Free to be fierce” appears with an image of Tyra Bank’s from America’s Next Top Model. Another example pairs “Free to be funny” with the comedy, Everybody Hates Chris.
The campaign is being brought to the audience in a promotional stunt, orchestrated by the network and taking place at local shopping malls, where the public is able to customize their own version of the “Free to be…” slogan onto a The CW tee shirt. A green one of course. |
